2009 is the year of Increase for Friends Church. Already we are seeing an increase in our passion and love for God, the Church, and the unsaved. Here at Friends Church we believe God has got us on an exciting journey that mirrors in a lot of ways Joseph's journey as found in Genesis 37-47. This year is an opportunity year to see increase, just as Joseph saw increase in the way God used him. We are all filled with anticipation to see what God will do next as we seek His face in adoration of our Lord.

The strategy of Friends Churchis very simple: Outreach and Nuture. Saving souls is our key focus. As a church we have been able to save at least one soul a month since the implementation of our strategy (early 2008). Well done! Each new believer is then given a personal nuturer, who walks through the first few months with them, helping them to get a good foundation. Whether you are a believer or not yet a believer, you are more than welcome to join us in our exciting, friendly and challenging quest to fulfill Jesus' mission.

Going...going...SOLD! We have decided to sell our block in Nerang and look for other options. We believe God has just the place for us at just the right time.

Study.We now have five people going to Bible college this year. Lucy is attending Malyon Bible College in Brisbane. Alison, Neil and Mark are attending Surfcity Bible College on the Gold Coast and Pastor Nathan is increasing his counselling skills at the Australian Institutue of Family Counselling in Brisbane.
