Nathan is most at home outdoors, usually hanging off the biggest cliff he can find. Here he feels the closest to God (probably closer than he
thinks!) Marissa on the other hand is most happy drinking coffee and reading a good book in the comfort and safety of her living room.
Nathan and Marissa were high school sweet hearts. They have made it through a long distance relationship and have now been happily married for 10 years.
Marissa couldn't resist Nathan after a grueling 1200km cycling adventure to see her.
Nathan and Marissa have done a number of ministries all over Australia and are now overseeing the ministry at Friends Church. They have a united passion to see people reach for and achieve their God created purpose and destiny.
Nathan is an equipper and trainer. He is currently working on bringing about God's vision for Friends Church and restructuring the Church to receive all that God has for His Church. Nathan is a strong believer that the five fold leadership structure found in Ephesians 4:11-13 is an effective structure for churches today. Nathan is currently implementing this into Friends Church.
Marissa, a gifted singer, trained counselor and spiritually gifted prophet is a major asset to our team. She is a great worship leader and nurturer. Marissa, along with Andrea Fahl heads up our prophetic ministry, which is an important part of the five fold ministry structure.
Nathan and Marissa have recently expanded the Agar family with the birth of Jeremiah Benjamin Agar.
